 Coatracks/hooks:

i was wondering if there is a weight limit for your hooks. i suppose it depends on the metal of utensils you use, but on average could you give me an estimate?
you mention the hooks being good for hanging backpacks...backpacks can be quite heavy!

Hello,
They do hold quite a bit. It depends how good the hook is mounted on the rack, whether one or two mounting holes.  And how the entire rack is mounted on the wall(into a stud, wall anchors,  or just screwed to drywall with drywall screws.  If every hook is mounted to the rack with 2 screws and the rack itself if mounted to the wall good it could hold probably 30 lbs.  I dont have a true way to measure how much weight so all I can do is describe/guess. The hooks themself it depends where on the hook you are hanging the item. If you hang a heavy coat on the tip of the handle the hook is weaker. If you hang a backpack in the bottom of the hook it is the strongest.  All in all we know these hooks are a lot stronger than most think they are, we test them every day in our home. But we are working with vintage silver here and not any two pieces are the same.

Hope this helps!  Good Day.
